Do we have to replace our current system?
No. Citrus doesn't replace Backstop, eFront, Allvue or your own models — it feeds them. It sits upstream, turning the source document into verified data, then writes that data into the system you already run.
How is this different from a managed data service?
Coverage-based data services collect standardised data for widely-held funds from a central pool. Citrus reads your actual documents — including the long tail a central pool doesn't cover: bespoke SPVs, co-investments, niche or brand-new funds, and the LP-specific notices that carry your own commitment and figures.
What makes it "verified" rather than just extracted?
Every field is checked against formal verification & validation rules — consistency, ranges, cross-references, reconciliation. You get a guarantee where the rules hold and a clear flag where they don't, with an audit trail back to the source line. Not a confidence score.
What documents can it read?
